The Allsopp Park North Gateway Project

A 150-acre park in center city, Little Rock, Allsopp Park is a retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Close to downtown and high-density neighborhoods — Hillcrest and the Heights—it positions itself as a lunch break hike or weekend adventure.

Arkansas Parks & Recreation Foundation has partnered with Little Rock Parks & Recreation to create a new gateway to experience Allsopp Park from its most northern point.

The project is a proof of concept for improving quality of life in a large metropolitan area. Encourage more connectivity — Heights, Hillcrest, Riverdale, and the River Trail — improve health and wellness opportunities and invest in future generations.
