Monument Trails, a collection of destination mountain biking trails merging world-class riding with architecture, art and nature, are set to open in several Arkansas State Parks starting in June 2019
Arkansas Parks & Recreation Foundation is partnering with Arkansas State Parks to restore and reestablish the Louisiana Purchase monument located at the Louisiana Purchase Historic State Park, located on Little Cypress Creek. The monument marks the “initial point” established during an original survey of lands added to the United States as a result of the Louisiana Purchase.
Arkansas Parks & Recreation Foundation has partnered with Little Rock Parks & Recreation to create a new gateway to experience Allsopp Park from its most northern point.
Today, Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area serves as a premier cross-country multi- purpose trail destination for many of its visitors. With further enhancements through the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Foundation’s East Trail Project at Hobbs State Park current trail offerings will be lengthened by roughly 14 miles—bringing total trail close to 50 miles.
